About a week ago i noticed a racing pigeon sitting on my window ledge. I followed the advice of the RPRA ( Royal Pigeon Racing Association) by putting out bird seed and water for him, just in case he was tired. I had hoped he'd be on his way by now, but he's still there. I can't reach him to get the number off the ring on his leg. He doesn't appear to be injured. Not sure what to do. Can anyone offer some constructive advice? If I withhold food and water, will he go, or just starve to death?

Personally, i'd gaffer tape 2 large lollpop stick shaped bits of wood to my arms, then clap whislt flying below him in a biplane.

If you withhold food and water he'll get bored and look elsewhere. His loft won't be interested, unless he is a breeding bird, the ones that are too slow get knecked.

So do they just go feral?
