Picked up a Cooper SD for the wife a couple of weeks ago, I've driving it a few times and the ride is incredibly harsh. More so than from my TT, and probably the reason why she is using the Evoque instead.

I know it's on run flats which are probably the issue, can these be replaced with non RF?

It's also got a JCW kit, would that have anything to do with the harshness of the ride also?

Thanks,

J

Yes - fit some decent non-runflat tyres, and you'll be amazed at the ride improvement, plus how any tramlining, torque steer, and skittering all disappears too.
Our 2012 SD has standard non-sport suspension with 16's & 55 profile Michelin non-runflats - it rides like a limo in comparison with the usual 17s & runflats, while still devouring B roads with the best.
