intermittent turn signal bulbs in left front headlamp 07 V8V
Discussion
Over the last few months I've noticed that sometimes the left turn signal blinks fast and I get a bulb error. One previous cars this meant a bulb had failed but in this case it's not always occurring.
I had some time last night so I turned on the ignition and tried the turn signals and all was ok. I then left the left turn signal on for a bit longer and it started to blink fast and I got the dash error message. I was able to observe that the yellow bulbs (LEDs?) in the front left headlamp were not blinking (off). Sometimes this would occur when I turned on the left turn signal on or work then after about 30 seconds they just stopped blinking (off). On the drive to work today no issue.
Can someone point me to a thread covering in this, maybe had this before, or other suggestions? My next step was to gain access to the headlamp to see if there might be a connection issue on the back of the lamp assembly.
Cheers
Dave

I had an issue on a more mundane car last month, where the indicator didn't work - and much to my surprise, changing the bulb didn't help.
Turned out to be the connector - the plug onto the light unit wasn't clamping a couple of the pins properly. Closed the gap slightly on those and all sorted.

I have this problem too only less frequently. Doesn't annoy me enough yet to have fixed but will be interested to see what fixes it.I had some time last night so I turned on the ignition and tried the turn signals and all was ok. The problem is actually caused by the rear tail light assy. I notice that the warning had stopped so I thought all was good for now until I had the car washed and noticed the turn signal and brake light were out on the same side when they moved the car to dry it off. Even though these were out there was no bulb failure warning.
Got the car home and pulled both rear assy's. verified they were wired the same and then swapped the right side to the left for a test and then all left side lights worked. also found condensation in the left assy so have been trying to see if I can take it apart though no luck yet.
