Glad you like it, got the new tyres on today at work and whilst it was on axle stands waiting for the tyres to be delivered i got the usual abuse from colleagues such as "whats broken now" etc... they don't understand not every old Ford is bad
As Matt said i have been to a couple of Sunday Services, hoping to get to some more in the future as the venues are normally great and so are the people.
Regards,
Matt

Great weekend, Castle Combe on saturday was really good with the parade laps i was entered in to being paced more like a track session... all kinds of cars overtook me rs2000s, cosworths to name a couple although i did overtake one car but it was breaking down as i went past . A few of my favourites from the day and a couple of mine below...
Next to my brothers mk1 frs
On the "parade" laps
Then today i went to Prospect Park for the car show there, only stayed a few hours but spotted a couple of fellow PHer's (Gallardo & a TVR 400 wedge).
So as said a great weekend and the car was great, back to daily driver duties tomorrow.

Had the afternoon off work so i serviced the fiesta today.
I replaced the rotor arm, distributor cap, oil & filter, air filter and the rocker cover gasket. I only replaced the spark plugs a few thousand miles ago so they are fine for now. Every thing is so easy to change which makes servicing very painless.
Everything still looks in good condition considering the age.
Not sure what i'm doing next, have to wait and see...

^ Thanks ^
Well the last couple of days have been busy! 120 mile round trip to the Silverstone classic on Friday followed by another 50 mile journey to the Lydiard Park show. Silverstone was a great day despite the weather! Yesterday was also good with various cars on display. Both journeys covered with no problems... which is always good.
Silverstone...
Lydiard Park...
Will be going down to the essential pub club meet on Tuesday if it stays dry as well
Next month i'm hoping to get a new exhaust on (due to corrosion) as well as possibly replacing the carburettor for a more efficient/reliable version.
Cheers,
Matt

Thought i would post a small update although not much has changed! The last month has been very busy so i haven't had much time to do anything to the fiesta. I nearly put the car up for sale a few weeks ago but i've decided i want to keep it for now so i'll be spending more time on the car and updates should be more frequent . I still haven't replaced the carburettor which i've been wanting to do for quite a while so this is next on then list, i'm also going to repaint the pepperpots (the colour will be a little marmite though! ) there's a few other little jobs i want to do also....
I noticed i was losing a small amount of coolant, i had a quick look and found the radiator had started to leak around one of bottom corners so i fitted a new one a couple of evenings ago. A nice painless job to do as it is so accessible like most parts of the engine bay! Other than this i haven't changed anything else, i stripped and cleaned the front brakes but that's really all i've done.
I've been lucky to attended a lot of shows and race meetings in the past month, most being really good and the fact the fiesta completed the journeys smoothly made them even better.
So for now i'll finish with some pics...
A leaking old radiator
The nice new one installed
A few pics from a couple of events i've attended
