98 sti driveshafts on 02 wrx gearbox and diffs

Got a 98 sti which had an 02 wrx gearbox and diff fitted both the front driveshafts had alot of play and and cv joints gone so i swapped them for a set of 98 sti driveshaft
Didnt realise they would have changed those also they were the same length and same amount of splines was just wondering if it would aggravate the gearbox or diff it's done 500 miles no problem thanks for any replies
