Gearbox ID

Would anyone be able to tell me the letters/numbers on the gearbox tag for a 1998 Chimaera 5ltr. Need the info to buy new 5th gears.

Are these the numbers you want? The first picture is of the main gearbox casing, the second picture is of the selector housing. The gearbox pictured came from a '96 Griffith 500.

Thanks for the reply, however it is the metal tab that has the numbers on that I need the information from. This, I understand, has the relevant information for the internals of the gearbox.

Sorry Barrie, I don't have any pictures of the tab and no longer have the T5 gearbox. I have however found some notes of numbers I read somewhere on the two T5 gearboxes which I used in my Griffith 500.

Box 2 was subsequently rebuilt by CTS (The Gearbox Man) who made no comments to indicate that it was anything other than a standard TVR T5 gearbox. Maybe you could get the information you want from CTS or Readman Racing?
