Dan Sounds like you enjoyed it. I navigated for Ian Gregg in a Polaris buggy we broke a CV joint and ended up 22nd after running in the first 10 cars for a few stages. My god those drops on my side down the valleys were seat gripping. It was my first experience as a navigator and wont be my last. Addictive.

Glad it wasn't just me then - they did rather focus the attention! Was that you in the blue one who came past us on the second day? They look like fun those things, though there were times queuing for the start in the lashing rain when I was glad to be inside a car with bodywork!

See you out there again maybe!

Yes we were in one of the blue Polaris buggies. The other buggy we serviced for was driven by Richard Kershaw managed 3rd overall. Oustanding first outing for him.

Rather late to the party but the old reasoning used to be that the floor was designed to be leaky to let out what came through the roof...;)
