WGood to have met you Paul at the White horse.

I managed to get back home on the cut slicks by driving at 120 leptons and using the aero to hold it all together thumbup - occasionally touching 170 to avoid being flashed by any cameras.

Brave man on cut slicks look forward to seeing how you mod the car for track

(Alternatively I drove at 55 and took the back roads biggrin)

Another thank you to the Factory. Mine arrived today as well.

It has to be worth another attempt, even if it is just for the convoy.

A tent/gazebo and something to sit on would be good even if it is dry.

Agreed - many thanks Richard.

Here is a video from inside the car towards the end of our convoy to Silverstone. I fogot to turn the camera off on arrival and can't work out how to chop the video - suggest you don't watch all 28 minutes!!!

17.30... I see most others also took the opportunity to announce their presence in the tunnel! smile

Also Mark, I found turning my indicator switch 90 degrees round so up is right made it much easier certainly to put it on. Try it, I was surprised how much more drivablae the car became for such a little tweak!

Yes indeed - a noisy tunnel! That's just before I went the wrong way and had to back up.

I've got used to the indicator switch in that position - but thanks for the suggestion. Easy enough to spin around.

Mark

I followed you in.

I had to drop out of the convoy and pop into the BP services to grab some fuel. Judging by the very slow progress you made I am glad I did. We arrived with considerably more gusto (just to catch up, of course)!!
