Good news on Borini (when it happens!). Shame that Enrique is happy to see out the remainder of his contract without playing. Poor attitude really.
Exactly. Does he think he will get a huge signing-on fee and large wages if he is a free transfer next season at his age? If it were me, I'd be looking for the best deal now and look to see out my playing days at a good club. I am sure any transfer fee would be nominal too.
At his age? He's 24! Of course he'll get a nice signing on fee.
I was talking about Enrique! wink

Ah! Well he's only 29, didn't you just give James Milner a nice signing on fee and 150k a week wages? I'm sure someone in world football will give him a decent chunk of change.

Enrique is not in the same class bracket as Milner. He has been out for the whole of last season and isn't going to get first team chance this season. Who would honestly would touch a player with a bargepole that has not played competitively for two years in a row and will be at the ripe old age of 30?

Someone would - he was a decent player when he joined us. Even a 2 year options deal for a mid table Prem standard club, I would have thought would be realistic.

Is Rubin Kazan that team that bought loads of expensive players a few years back to buy success?

It's a short hop to Geneva, but from there it's a 2 hour drive or train to Sion. I got excited about Liverpool coming to Switzerland again until I realised that Sion is a 3 hour plus drive from me and the last train back from there to home leaves at half time.

Hmmm, I could quite easily get the Eurostar to Bordeaux, only £120 return... When do the away tickets go on sale and how easy are they to generally pick up?

Looking at my pictures, my bro picked my Madrid ticket up on the 17th October at 9am. We played Madrid on the 4th November.

Singles should be easy to pick up i'd have thought. Generally are with the Europa league,
Bordeaux hold 43,000 so we should get a good allocation.

Hmmm, just remembered that my passport ran out in July. I could send it off next week but it would be really tight as to whether I'd get it back in time for the Bordeaux game... scratchchin

It's the last group game and I'm going to be in Verbier from the Friday anyway, so staying over in Sion sounds like a plan. Only problem is it's the works Xmas party that night and attendance is near compulsory.
