It seems that a lot of the LFC players are having trouble with their first touch and control, but what can you expect when most of team haven't played recently?

Given the position we are in I really cant understand why we do go for a decent run in the cup to build the confidence and thus put the first team out?

Quite! But FFS, they need to stop over thinking. Or just START thinking what their job is.

Not keen on Michael Owen but he's rightly critical of our "strikers".

All we've done tonight is prove how toothless we are when Sturridge isn't playing. Which we've known for over a year now.

Why does the commentator keep going on about how this was a home banker, or how Liverpool would have expected all 3 points etc etc? Has he not watched us this season?!

Do the Americans not get involved with the club outside of writing cheques. Brendan Rodgers is the gift that keeps on giving.

Another lack lustre, ineffective performance accompanied by rightful boo's at the end. No direction, no leadership. Just a manager that can clap like a seal.

Shockingly ste.
It pains me watching Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea, Tottenham, City all be able to pass the ball fluidly. One touch or two touch football. We get the ball and don't look forward. The ball goes straight back to the person who originally passed the ball.
Only seems to be Coutinho who knows what he's doing. Lallana looked ok but not of the same quality.

Should have had Sturridge on the bench.
Last 30 Coutinho and Sturridge on. Bang 3 past them and give us momentum going forward to Sunday.

I remember the passion and intensity of European nights at Anfield
There was nothing last night, no urgency, no passion, just nothing

Europa league has never managed to conjour that up to be fair, but the team do seem to lack any passion, aggression, desire etc... Lack of leaders on the pitch, Gerrard & Suarez had that on their game to drag the rest of the team along & bk people for being lax.

Have to say, I was behind BR for a long time but he's losing me very quickly this season......
