Having had a couple of battery issues recently, and with 7 automotive batteries on our household fleet I'm thinking of buying a proper battery tester.
A battery hydrometer, whilst by far the cheapest option and very useful in diagnosis, doesn't always paint the full picture.
So should I just get a simple drop tester like this, for about £20 ?

Or should I opt for a cheap inductance tester like this ? Around £40 on ebay and instructions in Chinglish.

What are you guys using ? I'd welcome any recommendations.

I have the Draper equivalent of the first one, and find that it doesn't lie.
