While at the track this week several of us had an interesting debate as to the best process/technique for the initial heat cycle for the Dunlops on a Radical SR3 in regards to initial pressures, format of the initial session with the new tires, waiting period before the second session with the new tires, etc...

What's the collective wisdom of the forum?

Thanks much & all the best,

Rick

Drive a short session (5-10 min) at 50-60% take off tyre car and let cool.
Drive a short session at 80% take tyre off car and let cool.
You are ready to go. This will extend the overall live of your tyre by approximately 20% instead of going all out right away.
