Beaulieu Supercar Showdown

I've registered and been promised (OK indicated I'm in the running for) a demonstration run.

Last year was heavily effected by rain so here's hoping.

One of the best organised events I go to:

It's free if you show your car (Driver and passenger)
Your car is roped off within minutes of arrival
Free tea, coffee, cold drinks, cakes and biscuits in a drivers marquee.
Chance to show off on the demo strip
Free access to the museum etc.

I emailed Andy as my invite got lost in the post. To my knowledge nothing's been sent out yet.

Went last year and shold have taken a boat it was that wet. Booked in for this year have have invite from Beauileu.

Iive been the last three years and already had my invite for months, although it was in the wrong name.

Yes car pass and wrist bands arrived yesterday.

Looks like I'm not doing a demo run after all. Can't say I'm bothered though.

If the "usual" convoy doesn't appear I'll meet you just off the A34 and do a 2 car convoy.

Im going, not sure why my invite includes a piece of paper with a very large "1985" on it, as its from 1988, but if that's the limit of the snafu should be a good day. like you don't think I'm down for a demo run, but minds can be changed by a sweet exhaust!

More the merrier. We could meet at the M40 junction 10 (Brackley) services and head down the A34 to meet up with Lez if you like?

Let's hope the usual convoy happens (and we get an invite) the countach would fit in well there!

Any idea what time they are meeting up at Fleet Services as I live nearby.
