Seen in the flesh, it doesn't look far away from a Mini Marcos or Cox / GTM coupe. I thought it's a lovely bodywork. Any idea what it is?

Cheers smile

I'm no expert on the Kit car scene (although I like my TVR's biggrin. ), and I have had the odd glass of wine.. But Rochdale springs to mind?

I have seen that one around the scene for many years. In my eyes it still looks fresh as a daisy and would surely sell if it was mad as a kit again 😀

My friend had one for a long time.

Based on the Riley 1500 I believe.

If they made that with Mx5 running gear it would sell like hotcakes

Just had a read through of the website, fantastic looking little cars that I'd never heard of. I've been looking for something to build as a first kit, if these were still made I think I'd be throwing my money at them!

I agree, I love the old tvr vixen and similar cars including this one. However it would need a bit of a stretch to fit an mx5 chassis, 3" in wheel base which is not too bad to fix but 5" in track front and rear, wonder what it would look like with bubble arches?

Perhaps someone needs to have a quiet word with Stuart Mills!

The Rochdale Olympic is a fibreglass monocoque, why would you wish to make it twice as heavy building it on a MX-5 chassis?
