That reminds me - I need to refurb or buy a new radiator.
Can I ask where you got yours (and how much), please?

Getting close. I bet the old boy is itching to get out in that! The header tank is a quailty bit of kit and wouldn't look out of place in an nuclear sub!

Its what any good son should do..
Everything takes so bloody long!! 2 hrs just to fit headlights tonight, Paranoya about scratching paint and generally just learning how everything fits again after so long apart.
I want it MOT'd for June so he can enjoy it for the summer and I can finally concentrate on the racing!!
Still about 40 jobs on the job sheet.
Throttle pedal next..

The race line and retro ford kit say just use a cap on the Thermostat housing and let everything find its own level. I prefer a header at the highest point and extra capacity of water so if anything happens at least you get some notice before a catastrophic overheat.
I need a small breather tank next.
And one for the diff!!

Thats were my oil cooler is Pete and oil temp still creeps up.
I have a little spoiler on the front chassis rails which helps if you need a template.

I have a problem getting temperature up in a race and have been blanking off some of the rad.
Oil temp does not go above 90c.

Waters spot on for me, Just oil….Mines a bit more of a task for oil cooling I suppose. Especially with such a tidgy cooler.
