I have a non starting bmw 323 that I want to get taken away. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'd normally spend a bit of time fault finding but have zero time. (also cba with eBay this time!)

Yep although most scrappies will still pay you for it (reckon on £ 20 - £25 per wheel i.e. £80 - £100 for the car).

Hadn't even thought of that - thanks. Found a news story on the RBFRS facebook page asking for scrap cars so have got in touch with them.

Thanks for all the replies everyone!

Just to close this one off.. I mailed Berkshire Fire and Rescue yesterday and they are coming to pick the car up tomorrow. (Would have been today but we need to empty the car first!)

Mail address I used was transport@rbfrs.co.uk or 01189 384 491

They are apparently desperate for cars..
