I know this is a long shot but thought I'd ask anyway

any one know where I can get a set of 'overfinch' type door seals for my 92 RRC?

am looking for a brake upgrade for the same vehicle (now has Rob V8D 4.8 installed)

Thanks

There was some talk here, but I don't know if anything came of it:

Not that I'm aware of after the last post by rangerovering asking if anyone had a sample he could send off in Jan 2014.
I've asked the question so we'll see what the response is.

These seem a bit like the rear window seals that popped up around Christmas. I even paid for a set but this got refunded and I've heard nothing since, website gone etc. Shame as I could do with a set.

They are still listed on Ebay:

Might be worth dropping them a line?

Thanks. I don't think they are the same ones, certainly they are double the price. Including postage that's £150 a side! That's proper dealer prices.

I regret never having a good look at the door seals on my Overfinch as they were certainly a beneficial upgrade with hindsight.

There's enough of a market now for someone to consider having a batch remade. I wonder if Damon at Kingsley has done such a thing yet? Might be worth giving him a call.

Re brakes, the LSE vented set up would be fine for a 4.8 but you'll certainly feel that you're close to being on the wrong side. A lot of people got the Defender 110 callipers as they are larger but you do lose the dual line I believe. Increasing the disc size tends to lead to needing to increase the size of the wheels also.

Bought them a few years back on here http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/

If not they should be able to order them for you.

I'd be interested in a couple of sets of secondary door seals, I've always figured there would be a good market for them as they would fit the Disco 2 also.

I've got a sample cut from a 4 door Overfinch we have.
