After six weeks I finally have my car back and it's better than new of 20 years ago!!

I would like to give my thanks to Dave and Chris of D & C Trim at the old TVR factory site in Blackpool for their truly magnificent craftsmanship towards my Griffith. With their expertise the interior is now finished and is of better quality than when it originally left the factory 20 years ago! I asked them to do me a few individual mods such as the head rest boosters and straps. And if you know the 80's Aston Martin, you will know where I'm coming from! This is a one off and their workmanship goes with out saying.... Stunning! Thanks guys - British craftsmanship is NOT dead! Should you wish to see their work the car will be on show at the Neil Garner Open Day on Sept 26th - They will be there to take orders!

My thanks also extend to the team at Surface and Design as well. Thank You David, Malcolm and the team - what can I say, it is beyond beautiful! Again the lads from Blackpool will be at the show with my car on display. For those of you who wish to know what colour the car has been changed to, it's TVR's own Starmist Crimson with maximum amount of metallic than Malcolm dare put through his spray gun!! I am told mine is one of two with this colour finish - the other being on a Tuscan! When the sun is out - boy does is it sparkle! Out of this world in true TVR fashion!

From Wiltshire to Blackpool and back again it was sure worth it - knowing the car had the best treatment from the former TVR gents

THANK YOU!

And here's a few images taken today of their work - as the weather was too good to miss a photo opportunity like this!

Enjoy!

Love the red and cream contrast, and the red steering wheel makes one heck of a difference. Paint iis almost metal flake in appearance.
Very nice indeed.

A good 'Thank You' goes a long way this day and age Bob! LOL As they say, doesn't cost to say 'Thank You'

The guys up there have gone the extra mile, it does look good, even if I do say so myself!

I also like the steering wheel (and car). Did the wheel come red or did you get a replacement?

Red steering wheel replaced by D&C Trim. Hate the black steering on a TVR car unless the interior has some black in it.

Love that they also re-trimmed the sun visors. The originals really let down the rest of the interior, especially when you've got the full leather and Wilton set up. My car's only part leather and when I cleaned it yesterday I was just thinking how rubbish they look even in there! Great job, looks fab.
