What advice for removing baked on bird s**t?
Are there and sprays/cloths/witchcraft that anyone would recommend? SHMBO tends to find the car at the end of the day under several large splats of bird s**t which spend the day getting baked on. She would probably leave them for a few years, but I'd rather do something. Sometimes nothing short of a chisel would do the trick, so alternatives would be helpful.
Thanks

Soak a paper tissue - kitchen roll is fine - & put it on the mess.
Leave it to soak until it's softened enough to wipe away. May take a little while & re-apply water to the tissue as necessary.
If you just leave it you may well find it's etched into the paint & that's panel respray time.

I've been off work for a couple of days on a course
I've just been in to collect my van and it's had a direct it from what can only be described as a heron that eats creosote and tar
It just won't budge. Even with the petrol station jet wash. It's outside now with washing up liquid softening it up
