Restoring Image wheels

I have a set of Image GTD5's on my car which are maybe 8 years old and which were not given much attention by the cars last owner. The surface of the aluminium is lightly oxidised and whilst i have improved the appearance with Solvo Autosol they still don't look very good. They were originally a polished aluminium finish.

Anyone got any suggestions for how to bring them up to top condition? There is an wheel restoring place nearby which i could take them to but its £70/wheel.

A metal polishers would probably be your best bet.
