Getting my factory build Yellow CS GT3 next week, one of the final cars. If it's worth 50k in a year or 250k in year is totally irrelevant to me.

Enjoy your cars those who have them & let the trash talkers who will never even own one continue!

Didn't realise they were still being delivered. Been enjoying my Racing Yellow CS for a year (next Thursday) and definitely no plans to let it go. Awesome car, I'm sure you will love it.

Thanks guys, I won't mention the dealers in question but the guys who have supplied it to me really didn't need to & I am very happy we got an allocation.

I originally put a deposit down in December 2013! I then took this back as no more were being made only to get a call a month or so back that they are making 6 more uk cars, can anyone confirm?

Anyway, the wait is almost over, paint shield will be covering the usual spots then it's getting used as much as possible inc. track

I can only wish that a small additional allocation had been released; no-one seems to know about it. If anyone knows of an unallocated slot, drop me a message, I'll pay a finders fee if successful.

(I will get to own a GT3, GT3 RS or GT4 in the next year grrrr)

Was in Porsche Chester before, was mighty impressed with the 991 GTS but for me, they will drop like a stone new, as have all other variants apart from the GT cars. I'm certainly keen to get in a GT3, but prices don't reflect demand and that is too much of a concern for me to dip my toe in the water!
Not convinced the GTS will have bad residuals, it's the last NA four seat 911 that will ever be built. I'm sure the new turbo engines will be okay, but I for one will be holding onto my GTS for a good few years until the turbo engines improve and I don't have a choice to move over. Personally I adhore NA engines and have yet to find any turbo car which drives the way I want it. Although Ferrari might have cracked it...

I doubt that a great deal can be had on this since the owner is still some 25k away from current market and has to pay JZM SOR fees, but maybe worth a phone call and cheeky bid to those who are looking to accept prices will still fall but looking to get in at fairer levels. The car has been on JZM website for near 3 months and advert has included the following now:

"Our Client Is Keen To Talk & Open To Offers"

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...

Be in mind, this won't be last 'open to offers' car, especially as RS and GT4 deliveries appear, you will certainly see the appearance of even more committed and motivated sellers, and bigger price drops.
The wording in that advert sums up the current 991 gt3 market.

Shame the advert is 25k more expensive than two other similar spec cars currently for sale
Jzm have dropped this one by a massive 20k since last week.

I guess the SOR owner is pushing hard to try and sell this one before the market drops even lower.

Two of the JZM cars no longer even there, the other two dropped 20k.

997's staying steady or going up when you look at the ones for sale.

As much as i've given you a bit of friendly stick GT4RS ( and I never swore at you, but I might of swore in the post in general, and if I offended you i'm sorry) but it does seem like the amount for sale and the impending RS arrival is making them drop like a stone. I would certainly be very wary of paying out for one at the moment in case they drop another twenty bags next month?

And I can't imagine a situation where you need ceramics unless you are planning a 24 hour race!
Besides their not overheating benefits, they also reduce unsprung weight quite significantly, so the wheels track surface imperfections better
Plus, yellow calipers look cool smile

Noticed the drops too, long way to go before that stunning grey one is mine, though the white one is getting there!!!

I assume the other two have gone back to their owners rather than sold? Maybe someone who deals with JZM regularly can ask?

There is a remarkably similar white one with the decals down the bonnet like the one which has vanished from JZM at Marque one just come on the classifieds at 155k.

Yes, the red and 'white with stripe' were both SOR, both unsold by JZM and returned to owners I presume.

Dealers have been artificially trying to keep the market propped up for some time, by keeping their cars in the high 160s. However, we are well into summer and with no one really biting (apart from terryb! lol byebye ), with the first GT4s being delivered and very imminent RS deliveries, dealers are very much aware they need to be aggressively cutting prices to get a sale before even more cars start coming on to this very saturated market and they get stuck with even bigger loses!

The white JZM car is now cheapest on the market at this moment, at 136k, but I expect many other dealers to start re-adjusting their prices very soon.

Being saying all along, this market is like catching a falling knife.

what was the list price for a well spec'd car? Out of interest what was the highest price recorded?

A very well spec'd car was 120k - 125k. The average spec car was 115k, and list was £104,500. The Porsche configurator is still up on their website if you want to check exact list prices of options.

Highest price recorded used ... debatable due to all the price manipulations and internet folklore, but I know first hand of very high spec cars that sold for 170k, so approx. 50k overs was the peak at beginning of year.

We were all told that this was going to be £180K easy, and that there was not going to be many speculators...laugh

the Yellow one was about £127,800 add CTS and you must see £130k GT3 at list with the options ticked no problem. (pccb of course at that price)

remember the price went up from the £100k list crono went up also later on.

Add buckets, lift, Bose, PCM and CTS and leather and it must be £125k .

most cars you see are sans leather and look cheap, the GT4 market seems to have all gone leather ;-) the GT3 market was less leather but I find that odd when a lot went sports seats.

A nice spec car is £122k list the basic ones are a bit naff imo another reason we might be seeing cars not selling, most specs are cheap and not what people are after 2nd hand.
