I was merely saying it would be nice for him to pop up and say he bought the car, in my opinion that would add a small level of confidence back into this market place as there are cars both 997 and 991 which have sat unsold for the best part of this year!
We all know the games certain dealers play when advertising these cars.
If I remember correctly u were also unable to sell your 997 gt3 this year.
There is a section in the forum for Cayman/Boxster to discuss the hypothetical GT4RS (I’m assuming your dream car based on the username). We all know the games certain dealers play when advertising these cars.

Maybe best you keep your thoughts in relation to GT3 values to yourself
This thread all 20 plus pages of it is all about prices!

Its not unreasonable to presume 991GT3s have sold at various levels down from the peak of 170k, as some owners will have simply accepted the depreciation curve. It is also a well known fact that some dealers will just post SOLD when in reality the car was never was sold, or sold anywhere near the asking price.
However, the fact that there remains still 50 or so cars means supply exceeds demand, and appetite to buy at these lofty overs is still not there.
TODAY, low spec cars should be 130k, and higher spec 140k. Couple of weeks from now, will be lower still.
The low mileage Racing Yellow Clubsport 'George Mackay' car, very high spec with lift + PCCB prob listed new near 125k. However, after a price cut to 139k a deposit has finally been taken. That is in my opinion a true indication of where we are now ... 130-140k.
Just remember this is a really marmite colour and also the interior was not leather , as such , this was not a £K 125 car , sorry

nope Silverstone have a new one and so do Solihul, silverstones was £185k though !! and listed with miles, but goto the showroom and listed as del miles !
both OPC state "mmm there is a story behind these cars"
IE I guess they are not allowed to be seen selling new cars at these prices.
Just by chance I have been to these 2 OPC in the last 2 weeks while passing, So 2 out of 2 have had new cars sitting there, must be loads as I doubt out of 35 OPC my 2 chance visits had 2 new cars !
Just for the record, the Silverstone one wasnt a new car they pre-registered, it was my car and they sold it a couple of weeks ago.both OPC state "mmm there is a story behind these cars"

The last thing this thread needs is facts and evidence, much more interesting for those with (apparently) no interest in buying (or selling) a 991 GT3 to make claims based on conjecture!!PorscheGT4 said:
what a black car with no miles up for £185k lol
come on, who's making the money here, flip tastic.
In this case the money here was made by me with them taking a cut, pretty simple really. By all means call me out as a Silverstone plant, then go back and do your research and find out I'm not. Yawn.come on, who's making the money here, flip tastic.

I'm more interested in your reason to sell, was it just a financial thing with the profit too hard to turn down, or did you just not like the car as much as you thought you would when you ordered it?I've not had the privilege of driving a 991 GT3 yet but the fact i was very impressed with a 991 C2s would suggest that i would love a 991 GT3, what disappointed you about it, or maybe you only even ordered it to sell?
No criticism either way from me just curious.

Pete - I don't mean this to sound in any way negative because the GT3 is a great car as has been discussed here to death, but for me it wasn't quite one thing nor the other - its too raw (for me) to use everyday, and with an RS coming plus other things to drive in the meantime doesn't quite tick the hardcore box either. I didn't order it to sell originally, previous GT3/RS I've had have never shown this kind of rise, but yes was good to bank a profit for once. your words not mine, never said a plant, so why the yawn ? ! said there was a new car at Silverstone up for £185k in black, you flipped it. that in my book is a FACT.I would have done the same if I had a RS coming, the flip pays for the RS, so a no brainer.
I'll do the same if the GT4 RS comes out.

Holy mother of God, ive only just looked at your garage, that's some collection of fantastic cars you have there, which goes a long way to making complete sense of what you said with regards to your reason to sell, even more so if you are getting a 991RS allocation.Thank you for taking the time to reply to me and enjoy those cars that you have
On a side note, whats your favorite out of them?
