V70 T6 - what to look for?

Whilst I'm in the market for an XC90, I've had a go in a V70 T6 and think this might suit me better. There are a few for sale and they seem to be a little cheaper than the XC90, year-for-year. The couple I've driven have both been 2008 models, and we don't have any other engine available here - turbo petrol or, er, um, that's it, so no D5 suggestions please. D5 is available in the XC70, but I don't need the extra ride height, and I'm not a fan of Diesels.

So, overall, what should I look for, other that general condition and history - presume auto box is the same 6-sp unit as fitted to XC90 3.2 & V8? Is the AWD system up to the job and does the multi-setting suspension system hold up? Is the engine belt or chain driven, what are the major services?? I know about the turning circle and weight, and expect crap fuel consumption. Space seems pretty good though not quite as big as I thought. Overall I'm impressed and they look like good vfm to buy, unless there are hidden problems...
