Anyone watched any of these yet?

My colleague said there's the typical Wachowski "style over substance" in the first ep but he reckons it's worth persevering with.

I've watched the first 4... definitely worth a watch as it just a bit different to whats out there, it has some interesting things about it, the way its shot etc... its a bit slow though... I wouldn't say its an "A" class show though... yet.. it may pick up hopefully..

Yep, I'll happily give that a go. Looks interesting and surely can't be as bad as Jupiter ascending...

I quite enjoyed them. A slow burner and the season finale isn't a finale at all, but I enjoyed it all the same. It's very very explicit though - can't imagine watching it with a parent, however old you are hehe

Watched the first 4 so far, really enjoyed it, another good netflix exclusive.

Liked the Matrix style shootout the Mexican guy did whilst filming.

Yeh, its a bit "full on" isn't it ?!

I am on Ep7 now, definitely worth sticking with through the slow first few episodes, starting to go up a few gears now! Good watch!

I'm on ep9 now and me and Mrs Pak are properly hooked!

Great show so far, I hope I'm not spoiling too much but the scenes were 3 or more people are merging are properly well done, chaotic as you might expect but not so much that it gets annoying. You really get the feeling of what's happening, which is missing in a lot of action stuff these days.

Netflix are pumping out some serious gold imho, between this, Daredevil and Orange ITNB.

Anybody knows if this series is OC or does it originate from some form of literature?

It's... dare I say it... sense8ional getmecoat

Interesting and enjoyable in general for me but too much on the sexual side. I suppose this is made clear in the opening intro for each epsiode but I couldn't watch this with my daughter (teenager) which is a shame as it didn't actually need that extra and quite strong, sexual content. "Sometimes less is more" would be very true for this.

I enjoyed this but as you say it's a bit OTT on the sexual side, although it did lead to a funny moment in the final ep when the Cop and mexican chap 'met'
I think I was slightly disappointed by the conclusion but would certainly watch the next series.

Yeh, its a bit OTT ... but its not much different to GofT... not sure if its particularly vital to the plot.

Also I have to say Tuppence Middleton who play the Icelandic girl was great in it... awesome actress..

there was a google hangout last night with the cast - worth a watch if you want to know more about the actors ... some good laughs... laugh

Just got into this and loving it so far.
I'm on episode 5 and really like the style and slow build of it. Really interesting to delve into people's past and have bits revealed episode by episode.
The way scenes take place in two locations is very well directed and edited and some of the comedy moments...

Laughed out loud during Nomi's chase scene last night, She got away on a push bike but stopped at a Smart car and jumped in.
"I don't know how to drive!"
"But I do" says 'Van Damn', now in the driving seat

We watched episodes 1 and 2 last night and enjoyed them. Will probably try and watch episodes 3 and 4 tonight. A lot of people have been complaining that the episodes are too slow, but I don't think so. I think the pace is fine and inline with the development of the characters and their individual stories.

yes

People want "instant gratification", but I think a build up like this has a much better pay off.
