3R Door exterior handle mouldings

One of the only cosmetic issues on my 3R is the Nearside door handle. The grain has come off the centre of the injection moulding for some curios reason…its not wear !! Thus it looks like I need to replace & I am assuming that this latch mechanism will need to be removed to replace the handle (I seem to remember that thesse assembalies screwes from the inside). Has anybody removed one of these in the past…are there any tricky issues?. Can anybody also definitively identify the part for me…it looks like an Escort mk4 (or orion) but the sierra component looks similar as well.

Just buy some carbon covers from Jetstream and stick them on.

well....thats interesting....looking at detailed pictures I can see that the escort ones are slightly a different shape !!! Personal taste, but I dont like the carbon covers to be honest...I dont have any real or fake carbon on it & the matt black handles are in keeping with the other matt black components. Looks like I need to find some metro parts !!
