Hi all, need a little help....

Will be having a baby soon and really want to be able to keep the 1M

Problem is that the seat with the ISOfix does not fit in the back..

Does anyone know how to deactivate the passenger airbag so I can have the seat in the front?

There is no switch on the passenger side when you open the door.

Thanks for the help!

Also it's a Swiss car if that makes any difference!

Open your passenger door and see if there is a slot for your key.

Checked and the slot for the key is not there

Wondered if there was another way to do it - either through the iDrive or something else

Rear facing seats can't be fitted in the front if airbag is on (but I guess you knew that already)..

You may be able to get a click in car seat adaptor base for the back - we had one for a Maxi Cosi where the base stayed in the car, and that can be attached either with Isofix or a seat-belt - this would make it easier to put the seat in the back, as you'd just have to click it to the base, rather than try to line up the isofix, or mess about with a seat belt.

What child seat are you fitting?

My little one arrived 5 weeks ago and we have her in the recaro young profi plus with the isofix base and there is no issues with having her in the back of my 1M. But it is easier using the seat belt over the isofix base.

Keep the 1M obviously, but buy a cheap diesel snotter for dull stuff. Doesn't matter what happens to it and it keeps the miles off the appreciating car.
