Are there any legal issues with parking a car in a council car park, paying the relevant parking fee and placing an advert is the window pointing to a nearby small business?

Can't see how it would be different to having a sign written car.

What is it you are advertising? If its for anything remotely 'high end' a sign in a parked car might do more harm than good.

Near me is a carpet cleaning company that has several cheap cars, old skoda's chevy matiz, etc with a board on the roof and the cors completely sign written offering carpet cleaning for £50 or something, been doing it for at least 3 years i can remember. they just part them up in different places aroudn the area where there is free parking so obviously works

I see a lot of bikes with advertising boards for local shops attached to them chained up to railings in London
