Can someone recommend a first class stone chip repairer in the Selby, York area.

Thanks for any replies.

The guy we use at work seems to do a very good job. I'll get his details tomorrow and post them up.

I have used this stuff https://www.drcolorchip.com/

Very good results. Having experienced 'smart' repairs before, I would not consider them again.

Surprisingly I remembered!

We use two guys but they do work together a lot:

Dents - Peter Mitchell "Mobile paintless dent repair" 07977 532442

Paint - Gary Marley (C.A.R.S - Car Automotive Refinishing Services) 07970 691181

Mention that you got the details from Charles at Driffield and they should look after you.
Be interested to know how you get, by PM, if you don't want to share!

Thanks guys for your replies, might have a go at using the colourchip method first.

Tried the Chipex, furiouscould never get paint level no matter how gentle I was, it brought the paint back out of chip.

Before you ask, yes I really cleaned chip hole with cleaning fluid first.

So Charles I will be contacting C.A.R.S. in the hope they will sort it out.

Agreed, I have also used Chipex and found it to be rubbish. Dr Colorchip is in a different class and I had good results with it
