Sole trader. Trading as domain name
Discussion
Just wondering if there's any problem setting up an account with me trading as a domain name.
The domain is the activity, so if it was roofbuilding it'd be "Mr 22 trading as roofbuilding.co.uk"
Clearly I wouldn't be the only roof builder, but with the domain as the trading name I don't know if I'd come up against any resistance or legal problems. Only a hobby, but be good to have a bank account in the name and save thinking up a company name.

I'd avoid the .co.uk bit as then you can get customers to write cheques out to 'Trading Name', writing 'Trading Name.co.uk' on a cheque it a bit odd.The domain is the activity, so if it was roofbuilding it'd be "Mr 22 trading as roofbuilding.co.uk"

Why not be 'Mr 22 Roof Building Services'
