Ah sorry piston heads. I posted this again before reading your email.

Sorry. Apparently wanted threads aren't allowed.

Yes I've posted on cmrc several times. I'm surprised nothing has turned up.

Get a hold of Cassandra Beardmore who runs Earlystocks Racing in UK. Lots of people used to race fast X7's with them.

Try Aircooled RD forum that is great for all things RD and some other Aircoole stuff as well.

I bought a 79 250E about a year ago and prices just seem to keep going up

No, the owner wouldn't let me on it again after I did that.

Forgot about the cost. A lot of Knowledge and advice on sourcing parts and stuff so probably has paid for itself.

I'm doing up a X7 at the moment, it's not going to be standard so if either of you need any original parts let me know, I may be able to help.

Cant think why...

Sorry to derail your thread Topbox..

anyway, just been to view the X7, isnt quite for me but it is very nice.

I did have a serious word with myself about NOT buyng his FS1E thou, it was a stunner..Despite the claimed 45MPH top whack, I could get to most of my regular haunts on it fairly easily....mmmm

OP, if you search out a group called Bike Life Classics on Facebook, someone's just posted on there that they've been offered an X7 that needs tidying up for £500. He's asking whether it's worth that.

A few people have already offered him a quick turnaround, but if you find it, it may be worth sending him a message as it looks pretty much perfect for what you need!

O/T but that group is worth looking at anyway!
