Think what would happen if GM started testing a £300k Supercar, and the prospect of it being available with a Vauxhall badge on.
"The mid-engined Chevrolet Corvette is happening!"

(but it will be considerably more affordable)

Now that's a disguise! A mid engined supercar masquerading as a Holden Maloo pickup.

The clues and leaks are becoming quite substantial now. If these are not inaccurate, the C8 Corvette will be a revolution of sorts.

This could very well be the mid-engined performance car that Zora Arkus-Duntov always wanted to build (but which the soulless commissariat at General Motors repeatedly stymied).

The C8 Corvette will be expensive, but its pricing will be a relative bargain -- and far below the figures quoted in this thread for the new Ford GT.

Hats off to Ford... They always get stuck in and go their own way but it does nothing for me at all. The look doesn't work for me at all. The front end looks too heavy and the rest just looks as though it's trying to hard to be spectacular... Like they had to use every idea the design/stylists came up with.

Love it - looks great as is, in a kind of Mad Max style.

Reminds me of...

A Range Rover AND a Zonda. Nice driveway!

Think there's a touch of the LaF in the GT front-on. Also, looks surprisingly long from the side.
I love it - BADASS.

That looks insane.

Although I'd prefer it if the exhausts didn't stick out as they do currently i.e. they were recessed like the 650S, 458 etc.

Love it, unless you're the sort of person who just buys the badge, this is definitely a supercar worth checking out
