Cannes Jet Ski Hire

Hi,

I am travelling to Cannes this summer, (have done for a number of years so know the area) and one thing I am struggling with - Jet Ski hire.

Each time I have been I have seen the locations that Jet Ski's are available from but never investigated cost of hire.

Can anyone recommend anywhere, or any high rollers of Pistonheads got one I could borrow?

I have looked online and they are stating a deposit of 2000EUR! Which seems very excessive. Is this the going rate to stop you running off with one?

Any links / advice would be much appreciated. I am travelling 8 - 16th in Cannes.

Not sure on Cannes exactly but they can be rented them a few places close by including Frejus, Antibes and Monaco ive done it a a couple of times in the past. Going rate seems to be about 100euro per 30mins. Never been asked for a deposit just hand over the cash and off you go! Eg - http://www.skivol.net/jetski.html

Monaco is a great place to do it because you can go out and around all the super yachts parked in the bay - im sure similar can be done somewhere in Cannes.
