Not sure if I've mentioned this before [probably several times] But I'm off to Italy in The TVR to see VR46 race at home in Mugello bouncebounce MotoGP not F1 [F for falling asleep] Anyhow, panic has set in as not only will my car have gone over 20k miles [from new] as a result, but the weathers not looking that good around Switzerland/Italy this weekend so it will probably get wet yikes
hehe

The atmosphere will be awesome. At all circuits you can hear the crowd roar on the TV when the Doctor makes a move. Can't begin to imagine what it will be like at Mugello!!

But it's Moto GP!!!biggrin

I fully understand though, his machine is simply stunning.

I happily boast that my chim is a daily driver, in all weathers. Guess who's chim has already had new front wishbones fitted, and I'm now replacing the rears, all springs and dampers and booked a full body off chassis refurb in 8 months.spin

I'll be quite now.laugh

Will keep fingers crossed for you Mac, I'm sure the weather will sort itself out, and you'll have the top down all the way thumbup

Go Rossi!!!clap

The car won't fall apart at 20,001.1 miles and it will dry out as well. Just do it you tart! hehehehe

Going to be insane, especially the form he is in at the moment.
I was privileged to watch him race at Donnington about 10 years ago.bow

Awesome! Are Villa Carlotta & the gardens in Varenna on the agenda?

Very jealous. We stayed near Mugello a couple of years back while touring Italy on honeymoon. I'd love to take the TVR for a proper drive over sometime if I could pluck up the courage!

Mac, consider having some professional counselling before you go mate. Disconnecting the speedo may help with the over 20K trauma, and the link below might solve the getting wet horrors....

I'd also recommend sleeping tablets and anti depression pills, there's nothing worse than wet Chim induced anxiety attacks or sleepless nights..

PM me if you need someone to talk to about this, it's always good to share disturbing things, and the Samaritans wouldn't understand..
