that was unanimously agreed as being either right or wrong? Or is there always someone, somewhere with a contrary view?

Pretty sure the answer is no as I can't think of any examples, even extreme ones

The real problem is, especially with extreme cases, that some people professionally have to disagree even if they privately agree (or vice versa).

There'll be plenty of court cases where the charged party was found guilty by the jury unanimously.

Unless you have some arbitrary number of people required to make the decision? smile

Yes. I think it's because some people like to feel important & different, or are simply attention wes.

Probably made worse by the availability of Twitter / Facebook etc to retards.

Among seven billion human beings, there's always room for at least two different opinions about any particular thing.

Even with things like the Holocaust and other genocides, there will be people alive who think that such things weren't or aren't always A. Bad. Thing.

Thankfully, they're not compulsory either.

If people are bad enough with money that they need to use their services, they probably a) don't understand what poor value they offer or b) have a poor enough credit rating that it's a matter of Hobson's choice.

I understand the notion of charging rate commensurate with the risk to the lender, as a proportion of my work and living depends upon just that. I wouldn't lend some of them a pen to fill out the form.

If the CofE can be a majority shareholder in such a business... wink

They may well have divested themselves of their interest, but only once it came to public attention.

I'll be the dissenting voice then as they can be cheap credit if used properly. I realise most just use them for stupid reasons though. I make money from this and I see the stats... its no surprise that Friday afternoon is the peak lending time.
