In the market for a different vehicle, keep seeing these Touaregs around and thinking they look ok, trouble is I know very little about them.
What are they like to live with in the real world, running costs etc etc I don't do huge miles and I like a bit of power there if I need/want to use it.
Any advice on which model to go for, what to look out for etc etc
Budget is not set in stone, all depends on year and mileage/condition, but I would think around £10K would be my limit.
Thanx.
Obviously if this has been asked before then please point me in the direction of the thread.

I'd just make sure you go for the 3.0TDI V6 rather than the 2.5TDI which is a bit agricultural.

Had a 2.5tdi, nothing went wrong and if it did it was repairable for LT35 Van money, brake pads, discs, suspension all low(er) cost items than the less agricultural models. A little slower, but you are buying a 2 tonne 4x4 for the benefits of a 4x4 not for sprinting. IMHO

I understand what you're saying, but I want a bit of power/speed when needed, I'm used to paying for parts having owned a few X5's.
And I think we all know that these do very little off roading, but handy when it gets a little slippery.
