I think the lads a bit of a wuss, and probably her boyfriend (poor lad) the way he just stands there and takes it. But credit to him for not decking her.
What I can't get my head around, is why is seems to be 'cool' to talk like some LA gangster. In my day you would have been laughed at for being a phoney.

It would be interesting to know what the back story is and or the run up to what was videoed. The lad did well not to deck her, but I suspect had he done she would have played the pink fluffy card, cried and he would have been prosecuted, either that or whoever was doing the videoing would have kicked the snot out of him.

TBH this is part of the problem. Bullies are weak and feeble, almost always totally unable to defend themselves in any one on one situation but only able to act when with their mates so that they are protected.It is a real shame that no long can people deal with the utter scum like this girl like some did back 25 years ago when the victim would seek out the bully on their own and wrap a cricket stump round their bonce. Nope it wasn't legal then but there was far less to chance of anything more than an uncomfortable meeting with a head teacher who already knew the score, just so long as you didn't swing the stump too hard... allegedly.

Reminds of the time I moved to a new school and on the first day the class bully decided to introduce himself, while we were queuing up for baseball(rounders), while I was holding a bat. Got into trouble on the first day for that one.rohrl said:

kin there it happened man.....I was thinking about this accent today, i even thought about starting a thread. where does it actually come from? It seems to have developed over the last decade or so.
It is not a 'black' accent by any means imo, that was a jamaican accent. This is just some random language which has been made up by da bad youte.
And its spreading, across the country bad man dem is speaking like this, comically with a twang of their local area mixed in
There is even a sort of well spoken polite version, i get plenty of phone calls trying to sell me crap and often its someone with a polite version of this accent.
