Who / where is a good independent for service and repair on an Omega?

I've been checking out Ryte Time, and I think I first heard of them on here, but I can't remember for sure.

I would strongly recommend Duncan at Genesis watchmaking. Have had my Speedmaster Pro and my wife's Speedmaster Midsized chrono serviced and case refurbed by Duncan - great communications, 2 year guarantee and reasonably prices compared to Omega (£230 from memory vs £350). He's just done my Monaco too. He gets very booked up so must be doing something right.

Rytetime are very good/ reputable are a bit cheaper but do a partial strip rather than full.
Christian at watchguy uk is very good too and does a full strip down but is dearer.
Variomatic on here has a great rep and will sort it out.
Omega Uk will also sort it out but at a higher cost.
All that being said if you are the first owner and want the best and want perfect water resistance I'd send it to bienne personally.
Take something like a seamaster pro 300 auto bond like mine that was 10 years old, things like the helium valve crown stem case gasket probably crystal gasket bracelet pins all get changes and cost more in parts than a service from the above guys. And parts won't even be available from next year. All this won't matter if you want proper traditional automatic servicing and don't need it water proof to dial depth and don't need a perfect case refiniah.

Watch Doctors serviced and repaired my Omega.

Mainly trade repairs and service but will do retail work by post or in person. Very efficient and reasonable pricing

These guys did a fantastic job repairing a refurbing my Seamaster Chronograph following an issue with water damage to the face. Not cheap but very thorough and the watch has come back in 'as new' condition. Thoroughly recommended
