How about a decent convoy to Top Cats on the 31st. We could have 1 or 2 meeting points and arrive en-mass. We are travelling up the A/M23, M25 West then on to the M40. Any suggestions for meeting points etc are welcome.
Many thanks
Jamie

Sounds good, Perhaps Peas Pottage on the M23, Cobham on the M25 and Beaconsfield on the M40?
Will work out timings later

I have been informed that the A41 is the easiest route there, Unless the majority want to meet at Beaconfield then I propose the McDonalds at Berkhampstead on the A41. I am completely unbiased as to what route to travel, so I shall leave it up to those who are more familiar with the area to decide smile

I'm not sure about the A41 being the easiest route , ok it is dual carriageway from the M25 , until Aylesbury , but that place can be a pita as you have to drive around it to get out the other side and on the A41 again , past Waddesdon manor and on to where Topcats is.
I went to Topcats about 4 weeks ago and drove up the M40 , off at the A329 junction , sorry I'm at work and can't remember the number . So A329 -- A418
towards Thame , then a bit of a cross country part to The Venture park .
This avoids Aylesbury and pops back onto the A41 close to our destination.

I am more than happy to go with the majority on this , but this us my idea.

I have added my email address in a post above so anyone can get in touch that way , maybe exchange mobile numbers would be a good idea .

Cheers

No worries Rob, As I said, I am not local at all, so I trust the people that are from that part of the world. I have never visited Top Cats before (although have promised Charlotte many times to visit frown )
So the M40 seems like the better option as easy to rejoin in the right direction from the meeting point and no fighting through towns. I will PM you aswell tomorrow and post timings, They will be rough timings as spirited driving may mean we arrive a few seconds early wink
Many thanks
Jamie

Farnham Common (just south of Beaconsfield).

Personally, I'd rather head up there on some interesting roads as opposed to the M40/A41.

Saying that, I'm happy to go with the majority, as I'll do the return journey cross-country anyway.

Im happy to go with your plans on this , as it looks like you have the furthest to travel .
It would be good to have time at the services to grab a coffee and introduce ourselves etc .

I'm coming from North London. If instead of going up the A41, I headed for the M40, by the time I got to the M25/M40 junction, I could be at Aylesbury, or very close. So the M40 is not really a viable option for me.

M23 a bit far in the wrong direction for me, but I'm sure that if the convoy swings past Cobham it can pick up a blue GTA and lurid orange t350 on the way. Let us know times smile

Hi all
Looks like no takers for Pease Pottage, so will aim to get to Cobham Services for around 7;15am then 30 minutes to Beaconsfield and then leave whenever we are all fed and watered.
Look forward to meeting everyone and having a great morning, hopefully the weather will play ball too.
