Yep, it's crushingly true and I am deeply upset and raging at the same time at the utter f
kwit who owns the company. No hint, no warning, nothing. One day it's there and the next it's gone and there's absolutely nothing I can do about it. His 'helpline' goes straight to a recorded message and he's not answering his tickets. The server ports are firewalled so I can't get a backup off the server and the Control Panel has disappeared so I can't see what's going on. The man who runs North Hosts is a five star ahole of the highest order. I haven't given up and a techy friend of mine is trying to find a way of getting a backup but to be honest it's not looking good. We're pretty convinced the company has folded but because the wker isn't communicating we have no idea.

It's getting there but we're not quite there yet. The backup that's been provided is a year old so we've lost a stload of stuff including about 70 members, I've asked for a more up to date but apparently 'I should be grateful with what I've got.' Lucky me, eh? Once we've got as far as we can, it'll be moved to a new host with a new web address.
