Fault Code Reader for a 2004 VY Monaro

Hi Folks, I've had an issue on my Monaro for some time in that a few seconds after every start I get the check engine light come up on the dash. Otherwise the car drives absolutely fine. I might go to the Enfield Pageant tomorrow in North London and was wondering if I could pick up a code reader there from one of the traders. What's the spec needed for a suitable code Reader for a Monaro? OBD? OBD2? Could it be done via some sort of wifi dongle so as i could access from an ipad or home pc? I think I've got an old HP tuners interface box somewhere but I've long lost the software disc. Thanks in advance

maybe it's the oil pressure switch? would anyone have a photo link to show where it is fitted?

Hi I'm here today and maybe tomorrow but code reader over in Herts , it sounds like battery is beginning to go to me it's struggling a bit to start then running ok as its being charged , I'm at x30 it's the autobahnstormes pop over when you get here

Hi Chris thanks for your offer I went to Enfield but hadn't seen your message before I left. I didn't get a code reader but got a few useful bits from the autojumble and there were plenty of cars to have a look at so well wort going. Are you going to the Billing show?

Hi yes I will be there , I'm going up on the Friday in the afternoon , if you need the code reader before just shout up , I'm just letting some one else use it too , what area are you in are you at all local ?
