Morning all,

Was out in the Tuscan yesterday just appreciating what a great car they are, however.....

The creaking coming from the roof panel is a right PITA.

What do people do to there's to stop them creaking (I know removing it would solve it!). I have silicon greased all the seals and coated the pins, which seems to be where the issue is. Is completely filling the mating holes in the targa panel with silicon grease a good idea?

Cheers

Does it creak with the catch undone? I had to loosen the tightness of my catch by unscrewing the little hook in order to stop mine creaking. silicone spray helped too, but you've already tried this.

Also, are the holes where the pins insert fully tightened? If you peel back the rubber seal you will find a couple of little securing nuts.

Anti-Squeak tape on the rear header rail also helps.

Velcro tape along the rear rail worked for me. Lasted 4 years before it wore & started squeaking over the bumps.

Thanks guys, not been out in the car since bi will have a look at those suggestions and report back. I've silicon greased the seals so it sounds and appears to be coming from the pins.

So bloody annoying.
