Wembley Food

Am off to Wembley tomorrow. Only found out late last night.

4 of us would like to grab some lunch at a restaurant before the game.

Any suggestions? Not looking for fancy, just somewhere to sit and eat/drink chat.

Normally would do pizza express or similar, but can't find a table.

Personally I'd stop somewhere like West Hampstead on the Met line and then jump on the tube and it's only a few stops to Wembley. From memory there's a few pubs and restaurants there.

Not much around Wembley stadium aside from a McDonald's and a few hotels.

There are about 10 different places in the designer outlet next to the stadium, big is is whether you can get a table there though

Pizza hut 5 mins walk.

Just phones a few places and everything is first come first serve on event days.

Has to be at Wembley as everyone is coming from different places and different methods of transport.

Visit the Ace cafe and then stroll up the road.

For anyone looking, it seems the tables were easy to get in TGI and Pizza Express. Just walked in off the street.

In hindsight however that may have been because the restaurants were at the Middlesbrough end of the stadium and all the fans had spent the last of their giros on the tickets and travel...
