I got the part number from that thread originally but it doesn't come up if I stick it EuroCarParts or other sites...

Weird, you'd think there would at least be an aftermarket equivalent on eBay. Have bought these for BMW and Land Rover several times.

I fixed mine recently with a random bolt and a load of self amalgamating tape

Ended up calling the main dealer who has ordered one for £4! Seems they aren't all useless...

If anyone has any bright ideas on removing the broken piece i'm all ears.

Might attempt a heated flat head screw driver :/
