The Cayenne saved the Porsche brand; it came out at the right time.
You buy a car you like, that is it for me.
I do not care what people think about my car, my money, or my choice.
People are always fast to judge you in life and cars without talking to you.
fixed that for you - people might understand now. You buy a car you like, that is it for me.

Maybe, as I said it's not my experience of owning a Sagaris. Even if they don't know what it is, they seem more enamoured and fascinated by it than anything close to it in price.
bks! Kids love chocolate buttons.none of them like Caymans, however.

My wife has a Speed yellow Boxster, so not very subtle. She get let out of junctions etc all the time,
Maybe its just the OP?
Is she attractive ?Maybe its just the OP?
Whilst I don't wish to be labelled in the same group as the OP I experienced similar when I changed from my Griffith to a 944 Turbo the difference in attitude from others was staggering.

I've lost the end of the thread. Who is winning, the current owners or 'every other marque'. Hands up all of you who don't like Porsche who have never driven one......
Cue the sound of a thousand ripping banana skins.
Hands up for me - never driven one and probably never will (but would like to try any 911)!Cue the sound of a thousand ripping banana skins.
I think most are probably very good but "base" models are bought by aspirational people - I used to love winding up 924 owners in my Capri 2.8 Injection, much like I enjoy meeting base model Boxsters in my Z4C!
But I am sure Porkers higher up the range are great!
Bit like 114i/116d BMWs are for the same aspirational types on a lower budget, but not typical of the brand - M135i/M235i is more like it!!

Except that a base Boxster is a mid-rear engined sports car with a top notch chassis, gorgeous flat 6 engine, etc etc. There is a decent argument that the base Boxster/Cayman is now the truest sports car in the range, at least below the GT3.
If what you mean is 'I have a lot of social anxiety and want to look down on others', you're spot on.
