Looking for the best lease deal on a 330d xDrive M Sport Touring. Test drove the equivalent models from Audi and others but nothing came close to the 330d - was blown away by it!

In terms of options i'm thinking of the following -

Xenons
M Sport Braking pack
Adaptive suspension (as I hear it's a must - the car I test drove didn't have it though).

Best price on business atm is £418 ex VAT with Nationwide Vehicle Contracts - that includes all the options and is a 36 month term and a 3x initial rental. Tbh I was hoping for less - I need to get the inc VAT cost below £500 if possible.

Also looking at PCP deals and waiting for the BMW main dealer to come back to me but I don't expect them to beat others without a haggle!

Can those of you with lease deals recommend some companies or point me at the best deals plz?

Also what do you think to the above extras?

Cheers

You must spec
Pro Nav
Adaptive cruise control
Internet
Advanced Bluetooth
Leather
Heated and electric seats
Visability pack - it's black magic but amazing
Roof rails
Air cooled seats
Surround view parking - but also helps with blind T junctions
Speed limiter display
Lumbar support
Bigger rims

And most importantly BMW PPK - performance power kit it pushes the 330d up to 300bhp OEM wink.

Disagree completely.

All fine if you are buying but if leasing you simply have to keep the spec down to an absolute minimum to get value for money or else it ends up being more expensive than buying.

Thanks @welshman but have to agree with @helicopter - I need to keep the cost down as much as possible for leasing.

We thought about heated seats but figure we can do without.

What out of - Xenons, Adaptive Suspension and Braking pack can I really drop? I really like the M sport calipers to keen to keep the braking pack. Car feels like it should have xenons standard hence putting them on.

Is adaptive suspension really necessary? I've read various threads were people are for/against. The car I drove had standard M sport suspension and seemed fine but only got about 5 mins of fast driving on b roads - maybe i'll need another test drive.

Also with the standard m sport suspension can it not be adjusted via the car interface? It seemed like it from the test drive.

Cheers

Pro Nav - £873
Adaptive cruise control - £601
Internet - You can't really use it so don't bother
Advanced Bluetooth - £340
Leather - std
Heated and electric seats - £315 + £917
Visability pack - £897
Roof rails - £267
Air cooled seats - ??
Surround view parking - £320 + £485
Speed limiter display - £213
Lumbar support - £257
Bigger rims - £582

Only about 6k of options... over 36 months thats probably an extra £160/month before the PPK. And if you want 300bhp get the 335d (although someone will now come in and say suspension, x drive etc)

So I disagree, you must spec a 5 series instead.

In that case I'd say without question you have to have Pro Nav and "make do" without the rest.

The surround view and cameras on your front bumper are such a great safety feature no more blind junctions or if pulling out from parallel parking you can see perfectly in both directions. (Should be a standard fit on all cars IMHO)

Gateway2lease are doing the 335d xDrive Touring for £372 a month inc Vat on a 6+23 basis on £8k miles per annum.

You can adjust the deposit and mileage.

If you add say £5.8k of options the monthly cost (and deposit) will increase by a total of £5.8k so and extra £1200 deposit and then £200 a month.

Seems lunacy to rent a car for £372 a month inc the VAT and then spank more than 50% again on options.

If it's an LCI car then it will have LEDs and the need to spec xenons is then eliminated.

Maybe to some. But if it improves the driving experience to you then it's worth it.

Is keyless entry needed at all? Nope but when you do have it you realise the benefit.
Is parking assist and the top down cameras needed ? Not at all. But it makes a huge difference to ownership
Does heated seats make a difference? If you have leather and live in a UK climate you'd be mad not to as winter gets them very cold over night, also as I've found out it actually works wonders for easing back pain that deep heat on the back really does make a massive difference.

Is Pro Nav needed? Um frankly yes

Some don't spec cars properly and then you wonder why on earth there are utterly budget no frills spec cars 5+ years old and you wonder why they don't sell.

Just my 2p.

And cooled seats?

And if bigger wheels trash the ride?

If you drove an xdrive 330d then it didn't have the M suspension none of the x drive cars do they have the SE set up, you can spec adaptive dampers but the springs are still SE.

Get the M sport + pack (xenons/HK/19"/privacy/blue brakes) for £1900, unless you really want the xdrive I'd get sdrive it sits better and handles better, then you can afford the heated seats!

I just ordered a 335d xdrive m-sport with adaptive suspension and variable sports steering.
Test drove a demo and thought steering and suspension was well worth the lease costs ahead of prof media or big wheels.

Thought the x-drive was pretty good on a wet test drive... Adjustable on throttle.. Throttle response pretty good for a turbo and with nice steering feel and very smooth ride.

Not the same sound track as the e63 I am downsizing from... But I think I will enjoy my time with it...

And requires comfort seats - another £1000+

You're good at spending other people's money

Thanks for the replies folks - can you explain what you mean about the car being an LCI car? Will it deffo have LEDs? If so then yes I won't need the xenons.

Decided to change my spec slightly so now have -

M sport braking pack
Heated front seats
Adaptive m sports suspension
Xenons

Also been doing the number crunching on business v personal and with the P11D value of this car I'll be better off doing personal lease.

So can you give me your best personal deals please? Looking at PCH rather than PCP.

I'm going to contact Gateway2Lease but I can't see a 330d listed on their site - only the 335.

Nationwide auto contracts will do it at £573 inc VAT including all my options and on a 3+35 payment plan for 12k miles. That includes maintenance as I figured tyres would be expensive being 18's and run flats.

Anyone got any better deals as it seems a bit too expensive to me?

I have just had a 335d M Sport for 4 4 day loan. Thought it was outstanding even in basic spec (no keyless entry is annoying though). Something of a bargain for £288 a month lease.

Nice - it'd have to be the 330d for me for the economy over the 335d. Where did you see it advertised at £288?
