Security - immobiliser, tracker, etc?

I've bought a Mk1 Escort, and thinking about security. At the moment it is at the workshop getting some bits done to it, the aim is for it to be an RS2000 replica. (It's got modern running gear - Zetec engine on throttle bodies, etc.)

It is a very nickable car, and I've been thinking about how best to secure it. The obvious things would be a tracker or immobiliser, but what about things like getting the chassis no. etched into the glass, or stamped into a few other places?

Any thoughts welcome!
