I recently purchased an XF from a Jag dealer (Premium Luxury, 61 reg, 21k miles) with the usual perks including a 2 year warranty.

On the drive home I noticed a strange noise above 50mph, I'd describe it as a buzzing/humming noise and it appears to come from the rear of the car. I have recorded an audio clip here: https://youtu.be/--41YzVdOvw

The noise doesn't change if I manually change gears/revs and also continues if I drop it into neutral. The noise seems to be related to the speed of the car rather than throttle application/engine rpm.

I will of course give the Dealer a call but anybody have a clue as to what it could be?

I initially thought the same but it happens in a straight line and doesn't seem to alter when cornering.

From what I've read wheel bearing noise occurs under cornering, could be wrong though?

Constant speed-related drone when driving in a straight line - change in note (usually) when cornering.

Feathered tyre. Have worn fronts (tracking out) been swapped front to rear?

Tyres all look relatively new and I would've hoped Jaguar should pick up relatively simple things like that during their preparation.

The car is booked in for next Saturday, I'll update once I have an answer.

Is there an update, as promised?
