Can anyone recommend a good conference bridge service provider? As an independent contractor I often find clients don't have a process for issuing bridges to non-employees. Having struggling with this on more than one occasion and to avoid having to beg borrow and steal one I would like to procure my own.

I'm open to both free and chargeable solutions, flexible on add-ons such as call recording or desktop sharing capability.

Any suggestions?

i really quite like goto meeting. quite cheap too and will come down on price if you speak to the sales team http://www.gotomeeting.co.uk/collaboration/
eg for one client with 200 users, get this for £5 pm including goto webinar & goto training. http://www.gotomeeting.co.uk/collaboration/webinar

there is a free version also : http://www.gotomeeting.co.uk/collaboration/meeting...

when sharing desktops with high frame rate requirements, historically have found teamviewer to be better at this.

One of our suppliers use powwownow or however you spell it. It's great for mobile access using a shortcode

We use GoToMeeting, which is brilliant for one click voip and joining, but dial-in is still a London number or something.

Depends what you want to do and how you want to do it. We also use Blue Jeans as well but that's more for video conferencing across a few timezones and getting things worked out
