You have to love the US!

Several top Fifa officials have been arrested on corruption charges in an early-morning police operation in Zurich, according to reports.
The charges stem from a joint investigation by the FBI and US tax authorities that has been ongoing since at least 2011, according to the New York Daily News website.

God I hope they manage to burn the old guard at fifa to the ground. HOPEFULLY making it super painful for the feckless idiot Blatter!

Wonder what will happen to the Qatar/Russian world cups as a result?

Reportedly he is not.

They may need some of the others to sing first.

You can bet it'll be like the dawn chorus during the interviews.

They know the game is up and will do all they can to make sure the man at the top takes most of the blame.

It's can-of-worms time, and just two days before Splatters reelection. What a strange coincidence.

Well, with half his cronies in the clink they'll surely have to postpone the election? I'd be surprised if UEFA at the very least don't put forward a vote of no confidence.

Blatter will postpone the election if the people arrested were going to vote for him that's for sure.

You mean there are dissenters? How'd he let that past him?

Blatter and his team are an absolute disgrace. Talk about in plain site. He truly believes he is untouchable. The trouble is he has so many countries in his pocket that there aren't many that will stand up against him.
