Have you ever been punched in the face?
Discussion
Twice in the same instance. Drunken lout blind sided me whilst I was dealing with something outside a night club.
Didn't hurt at the time, next morning I had a killer heard ache and a nasty lump on my forehead. I remember just being very surprised.
My reaction was pretty balanced in hindsight, I didn't hit him back, I gassed the prat and then nicked him.

driving home from a mates at about 1 am, in the gutter was a football
i thought of popping it with the ns wheel but as i got close it was
a head his clothes were a good match of the pavement and grass
so i stopped. trying to get his name and address was hard as i could
not understand him being so drunk but i was intending to give a lift
home he then punched me in the face and i did see stars
this made me let go of him as he was so drunk he could barely stand
he went backwards through a hedge in to the front garden
as he went through the hedge i then could see that the garden was
about 4 feet lower than the pavement. well he was not in the road
so i drove off and went home
this was about 25 years ago

How old are you OP?
Hey Asterix, I'm 32 on Saturday actually! Just interested as I have never been physically attacked before (barring a soft head-butt from a kid in class who was high on something and accused me of being racist) - always tried to stay out of trouble / stroke been a pansy.Never been punched, or landed a punch for that matter either but have been headbutted twice.
First was in a disagreement about wether or not I had propositioned his girlfriend(I had)
Second was when I told someone in my friends group that I didnt really like, that I was more likely to get into his heavily religious girlfriends knickers before he did(I didnt)
First time I laughed and pointed out the height difference meant he had hit my forehead with his nose which was now bleeding, second time I staggered back into the arms of a bouncer who threw me out!

A few times as a kid, did do a bit of scrapping, couple of times after.
Worst was getting punched in the back of the head as I left a pub, by a lad I knew who was drunk and I had been talking to a girl he was after, I healed, he remained a fat ginger ponce who creeps up on people when their backs are turned.

Many times.
Three times whilst at work. (Mental health hospital) - Didnt do anything, filled paperwork.
Lots on the street. (Mugged at 2am walking home, uni days) - They stole my phone and I ran away.
Even more during Taekwondo sparring. Head protective gear on though.
It isnt my most favourite thing.
ETA: Reactions.

A few times, during martial arts training - I hate it when it happens as it usually causes me to 'stop dead'.
Only been hit hard once though, during a competition, right between the eyes, don't remember hitting the floor and it bloody hurt, and given it was meant to be semi-contact was way out of order, he did get disqualified though ...
Been swung at a couple of times on the street, the one that would have probably hurt was actually by a mentally ill women - I thought het husband was attacking her, nope, she was attacking him and in my effects to diffuse the situation, she turned on me, fortunately she missed ( I ducked) ... no I did;t hit her back, just restrained before security arrived (was on University grounds) and carted her off to hospital.
